The year is 1509. King Henry VII is dead and his son Henry VIII is preparing to become King of England. On 21st April 1509 Henry VIII becomes king of England. On 21st June 1509 he marries Katherine of Aragon and 3 days later the pair are crowned.
Unsigned, but it has a very distinctive birdie in the middle of the base which I assume is the potter's 'signature'.
